St. Peter Needs Your Voice!

The St. Peter Children’s Choir is open to all kids in grades 2-5 and sings once a month at the 9:30am mass on Sundays. Children must audition to be part of this choir, but no prior music experience is required. Rehearsals are held weekly during the school year at 3pm Wednesdays. The Youth Choir is open to singers in grades 6-12 and sings mostly contemporary music at the 9:30am mass on Sundays. Youth Choir members can earn service hours by donating their time and talent to the church. Weekday rehearsals are held Thursdays at 5pm once or twice a month during the school year. The St. Peter Handbell Choir is open to adults with music reading ability. The bells are rung at the 11am mass on Sundays and many members of this choir are also sing in the adult Parish Choir. Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursdays from 6pm-7pm. The adult Parish Choir is open to all adults with some music reading ability. The Parish Choir sings at the 11am mass on Sundays as well as at most feasts and Holy Days of Obligation. Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursdays from 7pm-8pm. The Lifeteen Band is open to high school youth and adults. This group plays contemporary music at the 5pm Lifeteen Mass. Singers and instrumentalists with experience and music reading ability are welcome. Rehearsals take place on Sundays before mass at 4pm. The Hispanic Ministry choir is open to all adult singers. There are two different groups that provide music for the 12:30pm Spanish mass. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings.
