The Scrutinies

Unbaptized adults participate in rites preparing for full initiation. Rites of Scrutinies are observed on the third, fourth, and fifth Sundays of Lent to ensure readiness for baptism. These rites emphasize healing, strengthening, and protection through prayer and exorcism prayers.
