Anointing of the Sick at St. Matthias takes place on the first weekend of the month. In even months, it occurs after the 4:00 pm Mass; in odd months, it is held after the 8:00 am Mass. Please notify the Parish Office if a parishioner is hospitalized, homebound, or in a nursing home.
Celebrate the 175th anniversary with a special ornament for sale. Available on September 21st at Hospitality Sunday or on September 27th after the 4:00 pm Mass. Ornaments are $10 each and can be purchased with cash or check. Supplies may be limited, additional orders will be placed if necessary.
Copies of the 175th Photo Directory can be purchased for $5 each. Directories will be available at selected times after the ornament sale dates, and sales will continue through December. Contact the Parish Office for more details.

Volunteers from St. Matthias will prepare and deliver brown bag take away meals for the St. Ben’s Community Meal program on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
The parish is gearing up to celebrate its 175th Anniversary, starting on September 14, 2025, with a Mass at 10:00 am presided by Archbishop Jeffrey S. Grob, followed by a reception in Steiger Hall.
On Sunday, September 14, 2025, there will be Mass at 8:00 am and 10:00 am, with Archbishop Jeffrey Grob presiding over the 10:00 am Mass. A reception will follow in Steiger Hall.
