About

St. John Parish, a vibrant Roman-Catholic community in Darien, Connecticut, is a welcoming sanctuary under the guidance of the Diocese of Bridgeport and Bishop Frank Caggiano. Located at 1986 Post Road, the church offers a range of spiritual services, including daily Mass and four Sunday celebrations, as well as the Sacrament of Reconciliation. With a strong pastoral leadership team, including Monsignor Frank McGrath and other devoted priests, the parish extends its ministries beyond liturgy to serve the wider community through programs such as a youth group, music and religious-education programs, and outreach initiatives like an inner-city soup kitchen. St. John Parish is also home to St. John Preschool, providing a nurturing environment for young children. The parish office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and can be reached at (203) 655-1145 or through its website, stjohndarien.org. As a cornerstone of faith, fellowship, and service in Darien, St. John Parish continues to thrive, offering a beautiful and tranquil setting for spiritual growth and community engagement.
