Important Message Regarding Immigration Issue

The parish received a heartfelt communication challenging a position on the immigration issue. The Church is called to defend life and respond to injustice. Minnesota bishops have spoken out on the broken immigration system and the rights of migrants. Upholding justice and mercy is crucial in addressing immigration challenges.

St. John the Baptist Parish Updates

This week at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish: - March 4th: OCIA session at 6:30pm and Women's Bible Study at 6:30pm. - March 6th: Stations of the Cross at 5:30pm followed by Adoration. - March 7th: 2000 Hail Marys Devotion at 7:00am and Mass at 5:00pm. - Mass intentions for the upcoming week include special prayers. Middle School Service Initiatives

Middle school students at SACS engage in meaningful outreach efforts, including collecting socks for the homeless, organizing food and toy drives, and spreading joy through handmade cards. Service is integral to their faith formation and instills a sense of compassion and leadership.

Youth Service Projects

Our students at Shakopee Area Catholic School recently created handmade blankets for Project Linus, providing comfort to children facing illness or trauma. Additionally, our school community collected household goods to support families in need in our local community.
