Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. This is a reminder that Christ reigns forever and calls us to live out our faith publicly. Pope Pius XI instituted this feast to combat growing atheism and secularism. Let us acknowledge Christ's reign and strive for liberty, order, peace, and harmony in society.
