Lenten Fasting and Abstinence Guidelines

Adult Catholics aged 18-59 are required to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday by consuming one full meal and two smaller meals. Abstinence from meat is obligatory for Catholics 14 and older on Ash Wednesday and Fridays of Lent, including Good Friday.
