Couples preparing for marriage are encouraged to contact the priest at least eight months in advance. The love shared in marriage reflects God's perfect love, and preparation for this sacrament is vital. Accompaniment leading to the wedding day and married life is provided for parishioners.
During Lent, focus on fasting from incivility, discord, fear, and timidity. Feast instead on love, recognizing God's image in others, the joy of community, and showing compassion. Embrace listening, understanding, and sharing God's love. Let Lent be a time of quiet, simplicity, and repentance.
