Following the success of the All Saints Day healing Mass, another healing Mass for the Anointing of the Sick will be held on the Saturday after Easter at 11:30 am. Names for the dead can be inscribed near the altar, and a November book of remembrance is available. Contact the office for more information.
Registration is open for the Advent Retreat Day on December 6, from 9 am through the vigil Mass. The theme 'Exiled Children of Eve: Isaiah and the Blessed Virgin Mary' will reflect on Isaiah and the Blessed Virgin Mary's example of waiting. Registration forms are available at church entrances and on the website.
Volunteers are needed for the Homebound Community Ministry to distribute Holy Communion to individuals living in private homes, apartments, and facilities. Contact the parish center office if interested in volunteering for this rewarding ministry.
Donations are being collected by SAM's Ladies Guild for Thanksgiving Baskets to assist needy families in the school and Fairview Park area. The donations will be used to purchase gift cards from grocery stores for families to use at their discretion. Deadline for donations is November 17, 2025.
Confirmation candidates partnered with YOSA to host a Trunk or Treat event at the West Side Catholic Center. SAM families also participated in a parish-wide rake day to help neighbors in the community. Contact the office for more youth outreach opportunities and events.
