This Sunday, we celebrate Priesthood Sunday to honor and thank the priests who serve our parishes with steadfast love and dedication. Join us in reflecting on the gift of the priesthood and expressing gratitude for those who have answered God’s call. Let us uplift our priests with prayers for strength and joy in ministry and encourage vocations among young people discerning the priesthood.
On September 28th, we have a special occasion to honor Msgr. Dennis Duprey and show gratitude to our priests. Let us personally thank our priests for their spiritual guidance and compassionate presence. As a parish family, may our appreciation renew and support their generous service.
Reflecting on this week's Gospel of the rich man and Lazarus, let us remember the importance of caring for the vulnerable in our midst. Our eternal destiny is connected to how we treat those in need. Let us open our eyes to those around us and not let indifference blind us to the presence of Christ in others.
Religious Education Classes begin on Tuesday, October 7. Confirmation Classes will be held on October 5 and welcome those curious about Jesus or ready to receive the Sacraments. Consider joining the OCIA program starting October 7 for those interested in becoming Catholic or refreshing their faith knowledge.
Catechetical Sunday is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the role that each person plays in handing on the faith and being a witness to the Gospel. Today, we rededicate ourselves to this mission as a community of faith. Those designated to serve as catechists will be commissioned for their ministry.
Order of Christian Initiation for Adults classes begin on Tuesday, October 7th. A parents-teachers meeting for all grades is scheduled for next Sunday, September 28th at 9:00 a.m. All are invited to join the OCIA program beginning October 7th. Contact the parish office for more information.

Don't miss the Police Pipes & Drums Corp performance and the 'ON THREE BAND' concert. The grounds open at 10:30 a.m., and the day wraps up with the Grand Raffle Drawing at 4:00 p.m.
