Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, instituted by Pope Pius XI in 1925 as a response to growing atheism and secularism. It reminds us of Christ's eternal reign and the importance of publicly celebrating and living out our faith. Let us acknowledge and honor Christ as our eternal King.
