Lenten Practices: Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving

As we enter the Lenten season, let us focus on the three pillars of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Spend intentional time in prayer, consider fasting on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, and practice generosity through almsgiving. Lent is a time to deepen our relationship with God.

Adoration Schedule Update

Adoration will resume at St. Peter’s Church on Tuesday, February 17. During this time, we invite you to spend moments in prayer and reflection. Classes will resume on Monday, February 23. Check the bulletin for more details.

Stations of the Cross and Lenten Education

Join us for the Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent at St. Peter’s Church. Additionally, CCD classes at Our Lady of Victory will take place every Friday during Lent at 12:45pm. These opportunities for spiritual growth are integral to our Lenten journey.

Lent 2026 Begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18

Lent invites Catholics to a season of repentance, prayer, and renewal. A special Anointing of the Sick at St. Peter’s Church on Wed, Feb 11, after the 12:30 Mass. Masses for Ash Wednesday with distribution of ashes at St. Peter's Church and Our Lady of Victory.

Observe the Three Pillars of Lent

During Lent, focus on Prayer - deepening our relationship with God, Fasting/Abstinence - guided by Church practices, Almsgiving - being generous to those in need. Let us prepare our hearts for Easter through these practices.

Reminder for Ash Wednesday Masses and Distribution of Ashes

Attend Ash Wednesday Masses on February 18 at St. Peter's Church & Our Lady of Victory. Distribution of ashes after Masses. Church closes at 7:00PM. Adoration at St. Peter's Church resumes on Tue, Feb 17.
