As you know, the Bishop of Brooklyn reaches out each year to his parishes to ask our help in funding the work of the Diocese: education and formation in the Catholic faith, ministry to youth and young adults, aid to the poor and migrants, care of the sick and the aging, support for our priests and religious. You have always been very generous in the past, and already this year, just from responses to the Bishop’s mailings, we have pledged almost $49,000 toward our goal of $62,000. An in-pew appeal was made this weekend at all of the masses. If you did not have an opportunity to fill out an envelope, you may obtain one at the back of the church and return it in the collection basket or at the Rectory.
