Walking back along a pathway that, just hours earlier, had been filled with a line of Missionaries of Hope stretching for over three minutes—it was a powerful sight to remember. And right at Waterway Plaza, as if by divine appointment, we encountered Hector and his wife, Francia. It was a deeply meaningful moment. Ten years ago, they were the ones who taught us how to go door to door, how to knock not just on physical doors, but on hearts. This year, for the first time in 25 years, they decided to sit out the missions. And yet—there they were. Hear what Hector had to say.
We had the blessing to show Jesus’ love and mercy to women and their children at Casa Bonita, a Rehab/Recovery center. An experience that touched our souls.
