My sabbatical program began with the Deaconate and Priesthood Ordination at the Vincentian School of Theology in Da Lat, ordaining 21 transitional deacons and 9 new transitional deacons for 2026. The mass was attended by over 200 priests, celebrated beautifully and reverently, honoring the humility and obedience of Jesus on the cross. Let us reflect on the grace of God's eternal life through Jesus.
A Mass of Thanksgiving for the newly ordained priests was held, followed by a visit to a leprosy camp where I witnessed the dedication of the Daughters of Charity caring for the patients. This experience taught me gratitude and appreciation for life. Let us reflect on being humble and obedient in challenging times, bringing the cross into our lives and living out God's mercy.
Reflecting on Paul's teachings to the Philippians, we are reminded of the humility and obedience of Jesus, leading to his exaltation through death on the cross. How have you been challenged to embody humility and obedience in your life? Let us emulate Jesus' example and strive for eternal life through our actions.
