Today, and on the next two Sundays, our catechumens, now known as the Elect (or Chosen), who will receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist at the Easter Vigil, will participate in rites that are called the Scrutinies. These Scrutinies are occasions for the Elect to look closely at their lives and to ask God for the vision to see their sins and the desire to have God forgive them.
Join us for a healing retreat inspired by the prophet Jeremiah. This retreat is a journey of healing for the heart, especially for leaders, ministers, and faithful Christians who feel tired, wounded, or spiritually drained. An invitation to make Lent 2026 the beginning of a deeply renewed and vibrant Easter within us. Sunday, March 8, 8am - 1:30pm, with breakfast from 8-9am and Confessions from 1-2pm. Special guest Father Jesús Navarrete.
