Today the Church begins the sacred season of Lent — a journey of forty days leading us toward Easter. We receive ashes as a gentle reminder: we are not made for this world alone… we are made for God. Lent invites us to return to Him through: • prayer • fasting • and charity It is not meant to be a season of sadness, but a season of renewal — a chance to begin again, no matter how far we feel we’ve drifted. May this Lent soften our hearts, quiet our distractions, and draw us closer to Christ. “Repent, and believe in the Gospel.”

Our faith calls us not only to believe — but to care for those who need us most. The Friends of the Denton Pregnancy Resource Center supports mothers, fathers, and families facing difficult or unexpected pregnancies by providing encouragement, resources, and compassionate guidance. They offer real help to real people — walking with families during some of the most uncertain moments of their lives. Every day, women choose hope because someone was there to listen, support, and stand beside them. How you can help: • Pray for mothers and families • Volunteer your time • Offer financial support • Share awareness within our community The Preston Hollow Catholic community can be a source of comfort and hope. 👉 Learn more or support their mission: https://friendsofdentonprc.org/about/
The Season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Ashes will be imposed at our regularly scheduled Masses: 6:45 am & 8:00 am, and at an additional Mass at 7:00 pm in Spanish.
