Dr. Agnieszka Kosmecka, a native of Poland and holder of two doctoral degrees, has joined the Basilica staff as Director of Sacred Music. She brings exceptional academic, artistic, and pastoral experience to the role. Dr. Kosmecka currently serves as Music Director for St. Francis de Sales Seminary and will continue in that position while also serving the Basilica.
Join us on January 27 for a lecture titled 'Priests, Prophets and Kings: Christianity in the face of Nazi Persecution.' Gabriel Eagon from the Milwaukee German Immersion School will discuss the Christian response to Nazi persecution during the Third Reich. All young adults are welcome to attend from 7-8:30 PM in the Undercroft Social Space.
On January 22, observe the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children, praying, fasting, and doing penance for the right to life and an end to abortion. Attend Mass, pray a Rosary, or spend time with Jesus before the Blessed Sacrament in support of this important cause.

Exciting updates on the Parish Center renovation, starting with abatement and demolition of select interior walls. Parish Center temporarily relocated to other spaces. Fundraising goal of $2.2 million reached. Phase One of renovation to begin with interior refurbishment.
