Pope Leo XIV has proclaimed a “Special Year of St. Francis” to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the saint’s death. This Franciscan Jubilee Year offers plenary indulgence opportunities by making a pilgrimage to any Franciscan church or place dedicated to St. Francis.
