We will be having Adoration at St. Mary's during Lent. Adoration will be held each Thursday during Lent, beginning on Thursday 3/6 at 6pm. The Adoration hour begins with exposition, followed by silent adoration, and concludes with benediction. The dates are: 3/6- 6pm-7pm 3/13- 6pm-7pm 3/20- 6pm-7pm 3/27- 6pm-7pm 4/3- 6pm-7pm 4/10- 6pm-7pm

Ash Wednesday; the beginning of Lent, is this coming Wednesday, March 5th. We will have stations of the cross starting at 6:30pm each Wednesday during Lent, followed by Mass at 7pm. We will need an altar server to assist during stations as well as to serve the Mass. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much, Kurt.
Our 1st graders and our 1st communion class will be participating in the Youth Mass tomorrow. We will go over to the church during CCE class to rehearse our songs for Mass, and then the students will sit upstairs to sing. 😇
We give praise and Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the upcoming ordination of Kyle Hammons to the Sacred Order of the Diaconate. Kyle‘s ordination Mass will be on Saturday, March 1st at 10:30am at San Jose Catholic Church in Austin (2435 Oak Crest Ave, Austin, TX 78704). All parishioners from Saint Mary’s and Sacred Heart are invited to attend. It is open seating, so if you plan to attend, please arrive early to ensure you have a seat. There will be overflow seating in the San Jose parish hall. A Mass of Thanksgiving for Kyle‘s ordination will be said at St. Mary’s on Sunday, March 2nd at 10am. There will be a reception to follow in the parish hall. All are welcome to attend. The meal will be provided and everyone is asked to bring a dessert.
On the first six Thursdays of Lent we will have a holy hour from 6pm to 7pm here at St. Mary’s. The holy hour will begin with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by silent adoration, and concluded with Benediction. All are welcome.
