As we celebrate Black Catholic month we are acknowledging our very own church, St. Benedict the Moor, which was founded In November 1932. It is known as one of the first Black Catholic Church’s in Queens built with the love and support of the Black Catholic’s in order for them to have a place of worship. Because this is such an important milestone for our church we will be celebrating the entire 90th year hosting many activities and fund raisers. Please join us for light refreshments as we kickoff off the 90th celebration on Sunday November 27th, 2022 at St. Benedict’s Chuch Hall at 1:30pm.
