Only one per family for the parishioners who participated is available. Nativity of Our Lady will hold a Holy Hour from 9:30am to 10:30am, after the 9am Mass this Wednesday, May 7, 2025. At the 4pm Mass on Saturday, May 17, 2025, Nativity of Our Lady will honor all 2025 High School & College Graduates that would like to participate. For more information, please contact Janet Viator. Nativity of Our Lady is hosting a Women's Praise & Worship event in our Church from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Fr. Nathan Comeaux will be speaking at the event. This weekend we kick off the Baby Bottle Campaign to benefit The Unexpected Pregnancy Center. Baby bottles will be available after all masses this weekend, and may be returned to the collection area of the church next weekend with your donation inside. Every May and October, Nativity Parish is asked to take a Mass attendance count for the Diocese of Lafayette. Our count begins this weekend and will continue for all other weekend Masses during the month of May. The second collection today is for the Nativity Building Fund.
Bishop Deshotel has released a statement as we mourn the passing of our Holy Father, Pope Francis. Pope Francis died on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the age of 88 at his residence in the Vatican's Casa Santa Marta. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

First Communion is scheduled for Sunday, April 27th at the 10am Mass. Nativity of Our Lady is hosting a Carlos Acutis Youth Night from 6pm to 8pm on Saturday, April 26th in the Parish Hall. All youth - 8th through 12th grade, from all parishes, are invited to attend. Bring a friend and enjoy the evening with us. Friday, March 14, 2025, was the 50th Anniversary of Ordination of the Priesthood for Msgr. Romero and Fr. Arnaud. Due to the anniversary date falling during Lent they chose to wait until Saturday, May 3, 2025, to hold a reception of celebration. Everyone is invited, so please come out and celebrate with them after the 4pm mass on Saturday, May 3rd in the Parish Hall. If you would like to help with the food, you can bring a dish. The Faith Formation End of the Year Mass is being held at 5:30pm on Tues April 15th. Everyone is invited to attend. The Nativity of Our Lady Church Easter Egg Hunt is being held this week Sunday, April 13th after the 10:00am Mass. A Women's Praise & Worship is being held on Wednesday, April 16th at St. Edward's Church at 6pm. The Church Office will be closed on Thursday, April 17th and Friday, April 18th in observance of Holy Thursday and Good Friday. There will be no 5:30pm Mass on Holy Thursday, April 17th, instead the Mass will be at 7pm. Good Friday Services on April 18th are at 3pm, therefore there will be no 6:30am Mass. On Saturday, April 19th the Easter Vigil Mass will be at 8pm, so there will be no 4pm Mass. On Easter Sunday, April 20th Masses are at their regular times 8am & 10am.
There will be a Patriotic Rosary at 6pm in Nativity of Our Lady Church, Tuesday April 8th If you have tickets for the K.C. boiled shrimp meal, please don't forget to pick your meals this weekend, Sunday April 6th, between 10:00am and 12:30pm. Th Ladies K.C. Auxiliary members also sell brownies at time of pickup. The Nativity of Our Lady Church Easter Egg Hunt will be held next Sunday, Ap 13th after the 10:00am Mass. There is a Free Men's Conference being held at St. Peter Catholic Church Saturday, April 12th from 8am to 3pm. There is no cost to attend, and lunch provided.
