Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King. Bishop Noonan will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation for our young people at the 11:00AM Mass. Let us reflect on Christ's kingship and our call to live as people of mercy and compassion.
Confirmation candidates are reminded to live boldly as witnesses of Christ the King in the world. Through Confirmation, they are sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit and sent out as citizens of God’s kingdom. Let us pray for them to always keep Christ at the center of their lives.
